Comprehensive Assessment
Dr. Mollie offers comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments for children, teens, and adults.
Testing areas include cognitive, academic, fine motor, memory, attention & executive functioning, social awareness/perception, mood-related symptoms, and screening for sensory processing differences.
Testing can help clarify:
Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
Autism (ASD).
Learning Disorders (Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia).
Intellectual Functioning (Giftedness & 2E).
Mood functioning (Depression, Trauma, Anxiety, OCD, Emotional Dysregulation).
Dr. Mollie’s assessments focus on discovering your or your child’s learning style to help equip them in school, social, and work settings. She enjoys collaborating with parents, teachers, and providers in order to help develop a plan for support moving forward.
Assessment Process
Intake Session. A virtual appointment where we discuss you or your child’s developmental history.
When appropriate, a school observation can be scheduled before starting the testing process.
Testing Sessions (about 2-3 sessions for 5-7 hours total).
Collaborative phone calls with teachers and professionals.
Feedback Appointment where we will review the results of the evaluation and discuss the recommendations, which can include professional referrals, potential academic accommodations, and at-home resources.
(Optional) Meeting with the school. School support meeting, 504, or an IEP meeting to review the results of the evaluation and discuss the next steps to set up a plan for support.
(Optional) Child Feedback Session. A final session with your child where I share a strength-based and child-friendly summary of the evaluation. They get to hear about their learning style and receive some tips to help support their day-to-day activities.
The assessment process typically takes 4 to 6 weeks from start to finish. After the feedback appointment, the report will be finalized, and you will be provided a digital copy.
